She is a versatile ‘music and sound artist’ and has had experience in scoring most genres. Often her sound is influenced by the human voice and by sound design techniques/experimentation with effects, and she enjoys embracing music technology. More recently she loves creating hybrid SD dark sounds and soundscapes and music, so she is gravitating naturally towards crime, horror and thriller genres. Over the past 5 years, she has worked on around 60+ indie films and recently has had the opportunity to collaborate with more female filmmakers which has been a highlight. Jacquie also really enjoys managing a composing team and collaborating with other composers.
Jacquie is a member of the AGSC and recently had one of her tracks featured in their Women in Music playlist. (https://soundcloud.com/user-538449239/sets/agsc-womens-playlist-2024).
